Planning is underway for the next CAA conference in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, to be held February 20–23, 2008. The Adam’s Mark Hotel is host to most conference activities: sessions, panels, and roundtables, the Book and Trade Fair, the Career Fair, and more.

While the deadline for presenting a paper for 2008 has passed, CAA is accepting proposals for panels from prospective session chairs for the 2009 Annual Conference in Los Angeles, California (February 25–28, 2009). Please visit the 2009 conference website to learn how to do so.

The 95th Annual Conference takes place at the Hilton New York in midtown Manhattan. Enjoy more than 150 sessions and panels, browse and shop at the Book and Trade Fair, and participate in the Career Fair at the best-attended CAA conference, to be held February 14–17, 2007.

The Museum of Modern Art, American Folk Art Museum, and Museum of Arts and Design are a few short blocks away from the Hilton. Major institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Frick Collection, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Morgan Library and Museum are also nearby. Conference attendees interested in contemporary art will not want to miss the Chelsea gallery district and venerable alternative spaces such as White Columns, Artists Space, and the Drawing Center.
